"Off trailing" in Greenbrier w Mountain Man Glen Cantrell

Winter time is the perfect and safest time to "off trail" hike. But I only venture out on these old man ways w a pro like Mountain Man Glen Cantrell. He lived close to entrance if Greenbrier as a boy and worked all over this park as fire ranger in his younger years. At 84 he still can lead us on a 8 mile jaunt on the other side of the little pigeon river He found 1 very remote cemetery and our lunch stop was close to old settlers trail on this side man way. Dolly Parton great grandpa is buried there w a clear tombstone Good hiking buds and a few CAK teachers really enjoyed this "glen Cantrell special " today

Super Strawplains Half and 10k at Rush Strong school

Team work team camaraderie are keys to success. Our biggest winner team all are busy folks w jobs families and other commitments but are determined to show up to support each other. This in turn is helping keep them on track to getting healthier while dropping wt and times in races. I'm so proud of them all !!
